The (REAL) dark side of the moon

This is the side of the moon we never see. It is considerably more rigid and cratered than the side we see. A popular theory and mathematical computer simulations are now strongly suggesting this is because we once had 2 moons that collided very slowly – around 5,000 mph. This “splattered” the smaller companion moon’s crust on one side of the Moon’s surface. Pretty awesome read. Link below.
