Centaurus A / Large Magellanic Cloud

Centaurus A / Large Magellanic Cloud

Going through Hubble photos – this is one of a dwarf galaxy that is caught in our galaxy’s orbit called the Large Magellanic Cloud. We are just learning that most galaxies we see are hosts to other dwarf galaxies caught in their (stronger) orbit. This is one of the prettiest photos I have ever seen. Makes me want to paint.
